Symposium & Blog Launch

Our blog launch is just in time for our Traces symposium. Although registration for the symposium is now closed, we welcome you to join us Thursday, March 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. for the Traces: Mapping A Journey in Textiles, reception. Traces artists and curator Barbara Lee Smith will be on hand to answer questions. The reception will be held outside the galleries of the Gregg in Talley Student Center. Also, join us for the keynote address, Affective Objects: The Re-invention of Craft, Friday, March 25 from 7 to 8 p.m. Dr. Glenn Adamson, Deputy Head of Research and Head of Graduate Studies, Victoria and Albert Museum (London, UK) is the keynote speaker. The keynote will take place in Stewart Theater, Talley Student Center. Both events are free and open to the public.
